This is a very large cemetery so I have divided it into alphabetical listings to make it easier

This is a White Cemetery
Directions:
Located on CR 348 off of Hwy 7, six miles east of Marquez
The Cemetery is adjacent to the Concord Baptist Church. The Baptist church,
founded in 1855, on land donated by Isaac Burleson, was located on the south
side of Highway 7. When the highway was built in the 1940’s, the church was
moved north of the highway beside the Cemetery. We can assume the cemetery
is as old, if not older than the church organization. There are many unmarked
graves,
possibly as many as three hundred. This Cemetery is still in use and there is
an
active Committee caring for it.
